What I Bring to the Table

Tech has been in my blood from the very beginning, I wrote my first lines of code at 7 years old, long before I really knew what a career in technology even looked like. That early curiosity grew into a Computer Science degree, a scholarship in honour of Ada Lovelace, and over a decade of experience working at the intersection of innovation, problem-solving, and people.

Yes, I know the technical side inside out, from programming and product management to systems design and digital strategy. But if you ask the people I’ve worked with what stands out most, it’s not just the knowledge. It’s how I use it.

I bring warmth, humour, and kindness into every project. I translate complex technical challenges into conversations that make sense. I listen. I collaborate. I make the process as human as it is technical because I believe the best solutions come from a space of trust, respect, and genuine connection.

Working with me means more than ticking tasks off a list. It means having a partner who genuinely cares about your goals, your experience, and your success… and who’ll probably make you laugh along the way.

In the article, Jessica shared her hope to inspire her daughters and other young women to pursue careers in technology.

  • Datagraphic – Empowering women in tech: Datagraphic’s commitment to diversity and inclusion (Feb 2024)

Jessica Maher, now a Technical Product Executive on Datagraphic's product team, is celebrated as a driving force in tech—particularly notable given that just 2% of her computer science classmates were women. Thanks to her consistently high grades, she received the Ada Lovelace Scholarship from Coventry University. Jess passionately advocates for women being seen as role models in STEM, saying:

"We need to show that women are succeeding as positive role models. Stigmas and stereotyping from a young age carry on in life… Things need to change, and they are, but it’s slow."
